love is not possession but participation

CAPES [something empowering] “It takes a lifetime to learn another person…when love is not possession, but participation, then it is part of that co-creation which is our human calling, and which implies such risk that is often rejected” (Madeline L’Engle).

COFFEE [latest trend or addiction] Brontibay is one of my favorite French boutiques, and they specialize in small leather goods. In 2004, on a visit to Paris, I invested in their coin purse and wallet, and I still use them on a weekly basis.

THE COLOR ORANGE [something noteworthy] Dry your hands completely after washing them to prevent them from drying out and cracking.

CAPES [something empowering] You don’t have to be like everyone else. When your constant comparison mentality drives your life, you avoid the flavor and contrast that you could be experiencing.

COFFEE [latest trend or addiction] I really love using antique gym basket lockers as storage containers.

THE COLOR ORANGE [something noteworthy] The other day, Cooper saw a police car on the freeway, and said “Victor…Victor…Victor…I love you…Victor…Victor…”. I know how you feel, Coop.
